The Indian Journey for MUSA Dealers

A special invite by Mr. Anand Mahindra brought a coterie of top MUSA dealers to the Indian shores for 8 days. Their schedule was well-planned and included a good mix of work and leisure.
Their stay which extended from 24th August to 31st August took them first to Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai. An intensive meeting with Mr. Anand Mahindra, Dr. Pawan Goenka and key Mahindra & Mahindra executives was also organised. While that covered the work front, the leisure activities included the discovery of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur where they soaked in the sights and sounds of India.
At the onset of their trip, the group visited MRV, where they spent an entire day exploring the research facility, understanding the product development process and interacting with the Product Development team. The hi-tech set-up and the technological innovations undertaken at MRV left a lasting impression on them.
After the detailed tour, the dealers engaged with the company officials in an insightful conversation on what they had experienced at the research facility. Post their visit to MRV and a day’s stay in Chennai, the group proceeded to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Their excitement knew no bounds when they visited Taj Mahal (one of the Seven Wonders of the World), Kingdom of Dreams and other prominent landmarks. They undertook activities which gave them a first-hand experience of the distinctive culture of these three cities. To take back home memories of this culture, they picked up ethnic handicraft items and artefacts along the way.
While the group was in Jaipur, they were treated to a gala dinner which they attended, dressed up enthusiastically with an Indian touch.They also visited a leading dealership in the Pink City and were highly impressed by its infrastructure as well as management. The MUSA dealers were highly impressed by the infrastructure as well as the management of the dealership.
Before the dealers left India, they interacted with the top bosses of Mahindra. Over lunch with Dr. Pawan Goenka, Managing Director, Mahindra & Mahindra, the group discussed important matters and the way forward. This was followed by hi-tea with Mr. Anand Mahindra which took the discussions of company-dealer association and long term strategies to a deeper level.
The group of MUSA dealers had a very enriching trip and were reassured by Mahindra’s inventiveness, focus on quality and unwavering commitment to agri-mechanisation and globalisation.
