Agricultural exhibitions are a fertile ground for ideas and interactions. And in Uganda, the Harvest Money Exhibition, one of the largest trade events, has ignited a lot of interest over the years, and many people’s dreams of becoming commercial farmers have taken shape here.
Every year, the exhibition is organised with the aim to present opportunities within the agricultural sector, showcase new innovations and technology, drive interest in commercial agriculture and link the farmer to the agriculture value chain. In March 2022, the Harvest Money Exhibition had the theme ‘Farming as a Business’ at its core.
Ndovu Motors, Mahindra’s sole distributor participated in the event and ensured the tractors were well-displayed, the branding was prominent and the interactions were highly informative and friendly. The dealer’s representatives played a prominent role at the training sessions, interacted with the farmers through interviews and shared expert opinion during the event.
Participating in the exhibition proved to be beneficial for the brand and there are plans to be present at this event in the future too.
