The targets set for this fair were easily met. As the fair had been publicized through TV commercials, there was added interest in the event with many non-farmers also walking in.
The Super Diamond Fair, which first began in July 2016 in Kyoto, is now in its third year. And this time, it was bigger and better as it was held for two consecutive months. The purpose was to promote new products before the consumption tax increased from October 2019.The first Super Diamond Fair was held on 21st and 22nd June 2019 in Gifu and the second one took place on 12th and 13th July 2019 in Kagawa. In Gifu, two large tents were installed in the large parking lot at Kanpo no Yuku Gifu Hashima to create an exhibition hall. MAM’s GA551XUV tractor equipped with the new SE-Navi, which was launched in May 2019 was displayed here. Approximately 100 customers took a test ride on the second day of the fair. It got a lot of positive response with one customer saying, “It’s the first time that I am driving an agricultural machine using ICT technology. It’s easy for the handle to move automatically, and I would like to equip my existing tractor with this depending on the price.” The fair was a success with sales being more than the targets set.
