DIMO Agri Machinery division launched its annual Mahindra tractor service campaign in preparation for the upcoming ‘Maha’ season. The service campaign was organised between 11th August and 5th September 2020 in the Ampara, Moneragala, Badulla, Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Kurunegala, Puttalam, Batticaloa, Vavuniya, Mullaitivu, Kilinochchi and Mannar districts, thereby covering all the main cultivation areas in the country.
In order to make the most of the season, tractors need to be pre-serviced to gain maximum efficiency and durability. The campaign included detailed tractor inspection reports, minor repairs and servicing without any labour charges plus discounts on spare parts.
Farmers who participated in this service campaign were entitled to a free medical check-up, in which their health and fitness levels were checked by qualified medical professionals, and they were given proper medical advice. It was a win-win situation for the farmers, as they got updated on their health while their tractors were getting serviced.
The campaign had elements of fun too, in the form of interactive games with attractive gifts to be won.
Fuelled by its passion for impeccable service, DIMO has been able to successfully build robust relations with the Sri Lankan farming community.
