As tractors are one of the most valuable assets for farmers, it’s important that they stay in top form. In order to help farmers maintain their tractors conveniently, service camps were organised in different Upzillas. Farmers didn’t have to take the trouble to come to the service camps; they happened where the farmers were. Mahindra’s distributors, Rancon and Karnaphuli, conducted successful van campaigns in September 2021. The branded van moved around in different neighbourhoods in the morning to conduct the service camps. Later in the evening, the vans were used to publicise the 6-year warranty being offered by Mahindra through announcements made over loudspeakers. Rancon covered different areas on 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th September, during which more than 100 tractors were serviced, good number of enquiries were generated and deliveries were made. At the same time, Karnaphuli organised service camps on 27th, 28th and 29th September. 80 tractors were attended to and enquiries were generated at these camps. The van campaign will continue in the month of October as well. The service camps were well-planned and handled, and this further fueled the farmers’ confidence in Mahindra.
