EXPANSION OF PRODUCT PORTFOLIO

Erkunt Tractor, a leading Turkish tractor manufacturer and exporter of tractors to over 31 countries under its Armatrac brand, is constantly growing and taking strategic steps to widen its product portfolio to help enrich the farmers’ lives. Recently, Erkunt Tractor obtained select agricultural machinery assets of Hisarlar Makina under a contract manufacturing agreement. As per this deal, Hisarlar Makina’s Eskisehir facility will supply products to Erkunt Tractor for distribution through the Hisarlar dealer network comprising of over 65 dealers in Turkey as well as for exports to over 40 countries. With this expansion, Erkunt Tractor will move from being only a tractor manufacturer to becoming an OEM for a full range of agricultural equipment. Mr. Tolga Saylan (GM & CEO, Erkunt Tractor) said, “This is another step towards our goal of continuously looking at ways to help farmers enhance their operations with quality products and improve their lives. It resonates with the Mahindra Group Farm Equipment Sector’s purpose of ‘Enriching Livelihoods of Farmers and Transforming Farming’." In addition, Erkunt Tractor will also obtain select cabin manufacturing assets from Hisarlar Makina, which will significantly boost Erkunt's in-house cabin manufacturing capability. Powered by its vision for the future, Erkunt Tractor is shaping into an even more prominent force in the agricultural sector.
