As Mahindra spread its reach in Brazil by appointing new dealers, a simultaneous effort was made to keep the dealers well-informed and trained to enable them to serve the farmers better.
In March 2020, the Qualicitrus Group, located in Limeira/SP, came on board as Mahindra’s authorised dealer. To get the new dealer’s team well acquainted with Mahindra tractors, a technical training was organised at their premises from 23rd – 25th June 2020. The training program, which was attended by 12 team members, covered product knowledge, warranty and PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection). The product training session was designed to assist the team in understanding the features, highlights and competitive differentials of the tractors. The entire range available in the Brazilian market, which includes the 2025, 4530, 6060, 6075, 8000S and 9500S models, was explained in great detail. The warranty and PDI session included topics on the 5-year warranty conditions and inspection and maintenance details to be addressed while making the delivery to the customers.
From 7th – 8th July 2020, a training programme was conducted for the team of Agronômica, Mahindra’s dealer since 2018. It covered 5 different locations within the dealer’s region in 3 states. 43 employees were trained, which included 26 members from the sales team and 17 members from the after sales team. The training focussed on warranty and PDI, which covered the 5-year warranty conditions and inspection and maintenance details to be addressed while making the delivery to the customers. The models which were included in the training were 2025, 4530, 6060, 6075, 8000S and 9500S.
In addition to imparting product information, the sessions were an excellent opportunity to discuss strategies to overcome the current situation, where physical customer service is restricted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
