DEALERS MEET ON A GRAND SCALE

17 June 2020

Exchange of ideas and appreciation, both are equally important. At Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery Dealer Meet 2020, held at Royal Park Hotel, Yokohama, dealers and Mahindra officials came together on a common platform. The event took place before the lockdown, and during the course of the event, vision and ideas were shared and dealers who had performed well were lauded. It was a grand event with 247 delegates participating. Mr. Takashi Ishizuka (President & CEO, Plant & Infrastructure System, MHI), Mr. Rajesh Jejurikar (President & CEO, Farm Equipment Sector) and Mr. Prakash Wakankar (Chief of International Operations, Farm Equipment Sector) were present at the meet. The event opened with a powerful calligraphy performance by Mr. Yabe, who artistically showcased this year’s theme ‘Reversal’. It was followed by a warm welcome address by the President, Mr. Akio Tanaka. He shared his vision regarding future policies like brand enhancement through sales power, introduction of affordable as well as imported tractors, enhancing tractor demos and strengthening exhibition support. Detailed presentations by the executives of each department followed. Then, representatives of the National Association, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Mahindra & Mahindra gave visionary speeches which further inspired the audience. Dealers who had pushed the limits of achievement during the last year by increasing the sales of farm equipment of Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery were awarded. For the event, a special souvenir of Sake was prepared. It was part of the ‘Pesticide-free Rice Project’ at Tottori University. This Sake was also used to raise a toast at the dinner party organised at the meet. A lot of people including executives of the Agricultural Sales Office played an important role in making this meet a big success.
