In a strategic move, Sampo Rosenlew, one of the most popular combine harvester brands in Norway, entered into a collaboration with Felleskjøpet, which will enable it to offer a full line of combine harvesters and excellent customer service. Felleskjøpet, with a turnover of 16.2 billion NOK, 3,676 employees (2019) and multiple business interests, is the biggest supplier of animal feed, equipment and technology to Norwegian farmers. A co-operative owned by 44,000 farmers, it is even the market regulator for grains. This gives Felleskjøpet a unique advantage and a deeper understanding of the farmers’ requirements. As part of this association, Felleskjøpet will offer workshop services and spare parts delivery for Sampo Rosenlew’s combine harvesters.
“With Felleskjøpet, Sampo Rosenlew has found a perfect partner for our products in Norway. Felleskjøpet, with its large distribution channel and expertise in the machine market, has a unique contact with the Norwegian farmers. Felleskjøpet and Sampo Rosenlew, with our combine harvesters perfectly adapted to Scandinavian conditions, complement each other particularly well. This collaboration will further develop the market for the benefit of the Norwegian grain producers.”, said Mr. Karl-Wilhelm Hundertmark (Director, Sales and Marketing, Sampo Rosenlew).
“We are very happy to expand our product range of combine harvesters through the agreement with Sampo Rosenlew. Now we can offer combine harvesters for all the needs of the Norwegian farmers, which are perfectly adapted to the Scandinavian topography. The new partnership with Sampo Rosenlew allows us to serve the Norwegian market like no one else can.”, added Mr. Frode Dahl (Director, Machine Sales).
Sampo Rosenlew and Felleskjøpet are geared up to establish a stronger relationship with the Norwegian farmer community, and making it a win-win situation for everyone.
