WOMEN TAKE CHARGE

In the past few years, the participation of women in the agri sector has been steadily increasing. Be it in the fields or in the offices, in the rural or urban areas. Along with their operational and strategic competence, women bring sensitivity into the functioning of this sector. At Mahindra’s plant, located in Dois Irmãos, RS, it’s the same reality. Since 2020, 20% of the new strategic positions have been deservedly filled by women. They have brought in more lightness and agility to daily work processes, and have showcased remarkable efficiency while working in the Communication, Engineering, Tax, Parts and Finance departments. In a business universe that was dominated by men for centuries, Mahindra’s women team in Brazil is making a real difference.
