Plans to build its own dealer network in Europe, after the launch of its new extended product range.
Sampo Rosenlew presented its first ever hybrid double rotary combine harvesters at Agritechinca 2019. With this significant launch, the company will step up to Class 6 combines. Their renowned COMIA series has been extended with these new hybrid harvesters, C20 and C22 models which have a cutting width of up to 7.5m. Suitable for large and mid-sized farms, both models have a double rotary instead of the traditional straw walkers. The threshing mechanism has been upgraded to meet bigger threshing needs. While the C20 model comes with a single threshing cylinder, C22 has a pre threshing cylinder. Both combines have retained the same threshing drum width of 134 cm. like the other COMIA series straw walker models. The C20 and C22 combines have a new cylinder variator,
high capacity grain elevator and shaker shoe areas, putting the focus on the fan and sieves. They are fitted with Sampo’s premium AVARA cab, which was introduced in 2017. The new models have been developed in Pori, Finland and successfully tested in different locations globally for a few seasons already.
Mr. Jussi Malmi, Chief Executive Officer, Sampo Rosenlew said, "Recognised for our harvesters by our customers and industry alike, we at Sampo are proud to showcase our newest combine harvesters at Agritechnica 2019. Our first-ever Hybrid Double Rotary Combine Harvesters, will deliver a huge improvement in capacity, retaining Sampo’s standards of compact machines, with efficiency in cost of operation. We expect the COMIA C20 & C22 to be popular among farmers in Europe, Russia,Central Asian Countries and Brazil."
The company known worldwide for its high quality combine harvesters has plans to build its own dealer network in Europe, after the launch of its new extended product range. Having delivered more than 50,000 combine harvesters to approximately 50 countries, Sampo Rosenlew has set its sight on bigger goals for the future.
