October had a celebratory ring to it for Mahindra. While the Group completed 75 years of its glorious journey, the brand completed 4 successful years in Brazil.
Mahindra arrived in Brazil in 2012, however, it became fully operational in October 2016. “We are the brand that most grew up in the Brazilian market in 2019, as we rose 67% compared to the previous year. And for this year, even with the COVID-19 pandemic, the growth projection is more than 60%”, highlighted Mr. Jak Torretta Jr. (General Operations Director, Mahindra Brazil).
“The world is facing a difficult year with the pandemic that forced us to change habits. But despite all the difficulties, the agro sector did not stop. We belong to the segment that most contributes to our country and to the world, facing this crisis with optimism, keeping jobs, bringing healthy food to the population and generating wealth for our country”, he added proudly. Over the years, Brazil has become the 4th largest market for Mahindra outside India. "This shows the growth potential that the brand has in our country", he concluded.
As Mahindra’s journey continues, there’s a focussed aim to achieve and celebrate many more milestones in Brazil and across the world.
